Location
I was heading out to a river going towards Madera in California , and I happen to come across this corn maze and I happen to see the the leading lines , and the green background and started picturing it in my head and I told my model let's turn around!! We have to go there! Haha so she turned the car around ,and said "I thought we were shooting in a river ?" And I said "yeah we are I just have an idea " so we stopped by there and we set up our stuff , got my gear out and got this shot , and I'll have to say she was happy we stopped !Time
This happened to be around 6pmLighting
The lighting was perfect! No harsh shadows and highlights , I usually shoot around this time .Equipment
I used a Canin 6D with an 85mm f1.8Inspiration
The green background seemed perfect especially since her hair was red !Editing
Yes as a portrait photographer I had to do what best fits my style , I usually "burn" the background of my photos to always make my subject stand out but very subtle .In my camera bag
I normally carry my Canon 6D with its 85mm 1.8, and I Also carry my 60D with a Sigma 18-35mm 1.8 art series mounted , and a 270ex canon flash , and a 3in1 reflectorFeedback
Always use your spot meter, and use complimentary colors , green and red is a great example for this shot , and last but not least , Love what you do , and create a style that best fits your taste , keep shooting , and experiment , Thank you all!
