This photo was taken on my 50th birthday. My husband booked a trip to Gros Morne National Park on the west coast of Newfoundland. We stayed in the hotel in Rocky Harbour looking over the beautiful Atlantic ocean where this picture was taken.Time
It was early October and taken just when the sun was setting.Lighting
It was a perfect evening a few clouds in the sky which made the sun that was setting more dramatic. I used all natural lighting.Equipment
I used my Nikon D3200 and was handheld. No flash was used, just natural lighting.Inspiration

Wait for a beautifil clear evening at dusk where the sun is setting over the water. Living in the beautiful province of Newfoundland gives me many opportunities to capture the sun over water.
