Its is claimed that J.K. Rowling took inspiration of this place to create the ambiance of Hogwarts School of Wizardry as well as in the Portuguese Students Traditional black costumes with black cape for the costumes of Hogwarts students, while she lived in Portugal and was writing the first book of the Harry Potter Saga.
