Exquisite. Timely "in honor of"... For the loss of majestic Cecil, the King of the Jungle this week :(. Our devastated world needs to see this beautiful heavenly image. Thank you.

Location
In Traverse City Michigan there are old State Mental Hospital hiking trails that I took this at.Time
I took this in the evening about a half an hour before sunset.Lighting
It was actually very dark where I took this so exposure was a little tricky in the casting too many shadows.Equipment
I used my Nikon camera (listed in photo details) with no other equipment but my imagination.Inspiration
I think all the time about different whimsical art sessions I could do. I thought a lot about Aslan from The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe when I came up with this photo.Editing
Yes, I used a lion overlay and light beam overlay. The rest was hand edited. In my camera bag
I usually carry two cameras, my 24-70mm 2.8, 85mm 1.4, and my 70-200mm 2.8. I also carry my remote and flash just in case.Feedback
I would recommend just really doing your homework. Have an idea in mind that you want to accomplish, then find the overlay, find the outfit and model, then find the perfect place. Take your time to get it right. Don't Rush yourself.
