Location: Chateau Vigiers Golf Course, Dordogne, France.
It took my 4 hours of kneeling next the window sill with extremely sunburnt knees to capture this shot! There were two storms, the fist missed us by around 100 miles, the second (pictured) was about 50 miles away still! But it was powerful enough to light up the scene and add some drama to the image. This photograph is a composite of 5 different exposures and then carefully stitched together to produce an exciting and colourful image!
Camera:
Canon EOS 60D.
Lens:
Tokina 11-16mm f-2.8.
No tripod used, literally just placed on the window sill (very old villa with deep windows) and fired with a remote trigger.
