Alongside US 50-56, stands this rusty old grain elevator in what is now the ghost town of Ardell, KS. Built May 1915 by The Kansas Grain Company, it has never made it to the National Register of Historic Places in Edwards County, KS. So now, this rusty structure stands in anonymity, utterly ignored by the historic folks who handed out official recognition to its neighbor, the Gano Elevator.
