The birdhouse is on a pole on my front deck just a few feet from my front door. These are house sparrows and not very shy. I was photographing them from the nest building time to daily feedings till the babies flew away. The parents, especially the male, still come once in a while to check the new bird house replacement. The last time a whole flock of them came. Can't wait till spring.
