In this Saguaro Cactus a Verdin can be seen. The Saguaro Cactus fruit is a delight for all birds and bees, it is a sight to observe how these visitors devours the sweet jelly inside the fruit. The ruby red fruits are 6–9 cm long and ripen in June. Each fruit contains around 2000 seeds plus sweet fleshy connective tissue. The fruits are edible and prized by local people. The fruit Cannot be hand picked so poles are used to pick this edible fruit from the cactus.
