Location
This photo was taken in Apache Junction, Arizona. This is the first time that I went this place and this is the first time I take a Landscape photograph.Time
This photograph was taking by Sunset around 6:PM...I love how the pink hue of the clouds reflected in the mountains I think it was a beautiful view and the Cacti helped me have a vision and to frame the mountain.Lighting
The sunset was wonderful, there were a few clouds, it was getting darker but the reflection of the clouds in the mountain made a great impact on how this rendition of The Superstition Mountain is presented.Equipment
I used my Nikon D5300, AF-NIKKOR 18-55MM, I use a Tripod, no flash. Aperture f/5.6 ISO 100, Exposure 1/300.Inspiration
I always saw other photographers taking photos of The Superstition Mountain, I wanted to give it a try and it has been a great pleasure knowing that this photo has been well accepted by the Viewbug Community and the Staff.Editing
I did some soft Vintage framing around the edges to give a more sharp and dramatic focus to this image. In my camera bag
I usually carrie my Nikon D5300, my wide angle lens NIKKOR 18-55mm and my telephoto lens 70-300mm Nikkor lens and some filters which I did not used for this particular photo.Feedback
What I found out that help me was to read about techniques to photograph landscape especially when there is not much lighting, which will maximize the desired effect and the potential for this photo and most importantly knowing my camera settings. Having a vision of what you want the Image to look like I think is also very important. Therefore, waiting for the perfect time to shoot the best possible photo. By including two or three elements, For example adding the Saguaro Cacti created a great impact for this Image.
