I had just got a new lens and was looking forward to trying it out during the sunset. Once I got to the lake I realized I did not bring an extra memory card and would have to find another night to shoot the sunset. On my way back to the vehicle I ran into a photographer whose work I follow, but had never met. He lent me a memory card and I was able to stay longer to shoot. This is the first sunset I shot that I am truly proud of and I feel like something just "clicked" in my mind.
