This was taken with a Sony HX1 which has a 20x zoom lens and handheld, rarely if ever use a monopod or tripod, usually take my current bridge camera out with me when we feed our birds in the morning and if I have the chance try and get a shot of some of our wildlife visitors like this one who might be dropping around at the time. Presently my bridge camera of choice is a Sony HX 400v (40x zoom) and before this was using the HX100 (30x zoom) after the HX1. My SLR of choice is the Sony a77.
