Whilst waiting for new year's celebrations to kick in on the 31st of December 2014, I noticed a build-up of rather ominous clouds over Johannesburg South Africa. Instead of reveling I decided to grab my camera and head out to the best vantage point one could ever hope to have. This is a compilation of about 20 exposures layered over one another to give a snapshot of the lighting storm that evening.
