Location
I took this photo in my front yard. The tree had been blooming for a while, and I had kept my eye on it. I called over my cousin to come model for me. :)Time
This was shot on a cloudy day, at around 3pm.Lighting
I was happy that it was cloudy that day, because it's what I needed to create the mood I was after.Equipment
I used my Canon 5D Mk III, and Canon 135 f/2 L.Inspiration

I did a bit of extra color work with this edit. I did change the color of the greens in this photo. I wanted a deep blueish tone to it.In my camera bag
What's in my bag? 135L, Sigma 35 1.4 ART, Canon 85 1.8 are the lenses I use frequently. :) Camera body that I rely on is Canon 5D Mk III.Feedback
If you want to create whimsical things, you have to have a vision and you have to know how to execute it. I know that sounds pretty basic, not sure how else to describe it. This photo had been in my head for months. I waited for the right amount of blooms, the right light, and used the right lens for the job.
