My favourite of your shots, simply stunning. The colours and the background are spectacular.

Location
This is in the woods near my house. We love to go on little adventures.Time
This was one of the last warm days we will have had this fall. I decided to take the kids out at around 4:30, because the sun sets soon after.Lighting
We wandered around, trying to find pockets of light shining through the trees. I got lucky with this one, they had a place to sit, too. =)Equipment
This was shot using my Canon 5D MkIII, with a Canon 135mm f/2L lens.Inspiration
I had recently taken photos of a family surrounded by the gorgeous fall colors, so I thought it was time I did that for my own family.Editing
Oh yes. I'm a photoshop junkie. Haha! I can't remember the entire process, but I can give you a general idea. I warmed up the photo quite a bit. I introduced more magenta into the greens. I removed some stray hairs from my daughter's head, some distracting branches, etc. I also softened up the natural DOF a bit more, to make it a bit more dramatic. In my camera bag
Well, I'm a wedding photographer. The easier question would be what DON'T I have in my bag. Let's say I packed light the day I shot this. I had my 5D Mark III, 135L, Sigma 70-200 2.8, Canon 85 1.8, and I think my Sigma 24-70 2.8. The first three lenses I listed are my absolute favorites. I shoot about 85% of my portraits on the 70-200. It's crazy reliable.Feedback
I would suggest a full frame camera with a good longer focal length at 2.8 or better, that will give you that great compression and bokeh. Dreamy results every time! And always find that magical light!
