I took this photo in the back woods in upstate NY, near my home.Time
It was mid morning when I decided to go and find the place this pice of art layed.Lighting
I used the natural lighting from the sun, pouring down through the leaf covered tree tops.Equipment
I had acutely only used my Iphone6 to take the picture. I had just found out where it was so I took right off out the door...forgetting my camera.Inspiration
We all knew it existed. An architect student from Cornell University back in the late 60's early 70's, had gone out into the woods and built the stone punch bug.Editing
I didn't do any processing to the picture. I did however take a few to make sure a had gotten at least one decent one.In my camera bag
Normally when I'm thinking I grab my camera bag. I carry a cannon 500, extra batteries, extra Linz, Linz cloth, extra sd card.Feedback
Just keep taking pictures. Anything that grabs you eye, or attention. If you have an idea go ahead and try and recreat it. Go for the picture you want. Always make copies.
