Two metro trains pass by one another at the Paris Metro station at Cite. I was regularly taking the Paris Metro to see how the locals got around. I have to admit, the Metro was a wonderful source of photos over the week I was in Paris.

This photo was taken on my last day in Paris. We were actually on our way to Sainte-Chapelle when I saw the stairs exiting the Cite station. This was the first station I had seen to have "exposed" stairs where you could actually shoot downward onto the platform. I shot this image handheld waiting for the time when two trains approached the station simultaneously. Fortunately, a commuter decided to stop at the perfect time when two trains made their pass.
