I spent most of April traveling across Europe on a family trip across 7 countries. We had a great time and it was an amazing trip.

Doing some "serious" photography is always a challenge when traveling with family but I was still able to sneak away from the group at a few of our stops where the schedule permitted.

One of our favourite cities was Lucerne in Switzerland. This small town just outside Zurich was a nice change from all the big cities we visited in Italy earlier in the trip. The people and laid back feel of the town really reminded me a lot of Vancouver where I lived for 12 years.

This shot was of the Kapellbrücke along Reuss River. The bridge was built in the 1333 and contains a number of interior paintings dating back to the 17th century. It is the oldest, covered wooden bridge in Europe and is the oldest surviving truss bridge in the world.
