Beautiful bird. Beautifully capture. Like the pose and catchlight in the eye.

Behind The Lens

Location

this was shoot in my back yard in New Brunswick Canada

Time

this shoot was one for about 10 i got of 9 blue jays that would come to my yard every day around 11am i like this shoot the best because the look he was giving me and the way the wind was blowing his feathers around and the way the sun was hitting him

Lighting

all natural lighting the sun did it all for me

Equipment

canon T1I camera with a tamron 55-200mm lens on a slik able 300 DX tripod

Inspiration

i used my bird feeder to learn how to take photos how light worked and what all the settings on my camera would do to a photo so to me the birds where the best thing to work with

Editing

yes just a little color bust

In my camera bag

i have a canon T1I, canon T6I and a canon 1D mark2 with sigma 24-70 3.5-5.6 tamron 55-200mm 4-5.6 macro and a tamrom 70-200mm 2.8 Di Sp lens with 2 YN 560-2 flash

Feedback

the only thing i can say is keep working on it that is the only way you can get better at it some days i spend 8 hours in my home made studio just working on lighting so just spend the time with your camera and have fun with it and you will get some great shoots
