This photo was taken in my house when this little girl was visiting me. I only used natural light and I put her in front of a large window and then just let her be her.Time
This was taken around noon and in wintertime.Lighting
I only wanted the natural light because it was so beautiful and soft that day. The weather was cloudy so it gives a nice natural filter and helps with softer light.Equipment
I used Canon 6D body and a Canon 50mm lens.Inspiration
I wanted to make a memory in a what seemed to be just another regular day. But in a way, because of this photo, she will always remember it.Editing
I only retouched it to add a little contrast and some curves and sharpened it more, that was it.In my camera bag
I have a Canon 6D body, Canon 50mm lens, Canon 18-45mm lens and Sigma 70-200mm lens.Feedback
When photographing kids you just have to let them be kids. Have fun, play, enjoy their company, share a laugh. If a child is not relaxed around you you can forget about taking their photos.
