Location
This photograph was taken at the end of a 24 mile sponsored walk, raising money for a local hospice. I live in Wales, and the scenery is always beautiful.Time
I love this image. After hours of walking along winding country lanes, climbing endless styles and crossing muddy fields, I'd already put my camera away. It was my eldest daughter who stopped me in the middle of a particularly muddy stream, and told me to turn around. And there it was, in all its glory...Lighting
No lighting effects were needed. The sun managed this stunning light all by itself.Equipment
I've always used a simple 'point and click' camera, steadying it on whatever comes to hand. In this case, my daughter's shoulder.Inspiration
Just the simple beauty. After a long and exhausting walk with my daughter, this sunset was the perfect ending.Editing
No.In my camera bag
I never use anything in addition to my hand-held camera.Feedback
Most of the time we only really see what's ahead of us. Sometimes we just need to look at what's behind, below or above.
