Location
This photo was taken along the beach during Texas (2015) Sandfest in Corpus Christi.Time
It was taken during the sunset hoursLighting
I used the sunset to give (back lighting).. I also used my pop-up flash to remove some shadows and give the birds in close more detail. My setting was in sports mode to capture the birds in freeze frame.Equipment
This was shot with my Canon 60D / Canon 18-55 mm lens / Pop-up flash...Inspiration
I was in the right place at the right time as the birds were coming in to feed on fish by the shore line.Editing
No post-processing was needed..In my camera bag
I always have my Canon 60D ready for action. My work horse lens is the 18-270. You can capture just about everything close or far away. I include my 10-24 and my 18-55. in the bag as well. You can't go wrong with having these available..Feedback
Alone any beach during sunset is an amazing time to capture people as well as wild life.
