Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Errington, on beautiful Vancouver Island. This farm is owned by a friend of mine and has been in the family for many generations. If you look up the driveway you will see my friend's dog leading the way! I have experienced bailing hay in the fields behind the barn. A good place to call home!

Time

This picture was taken in the morning with all of its glorious light. My camera is just a handheld canon with a 25x zoom lens. I am saving for a new camera soon.

Lighting

As an amateur photographer, I have so much fun learning about light and shadows! This one is a good example of what magic happens when the lighting is just right!

Equipment

My entire collection and web site was used with a handheld camera canon sx620 HS I am saving for a new camera as this one is literally wearing out! lol

Inspiration

Living in Parksville, on Vancouver Island has given me a huge template of places to practice my photography and this driveway in Errington has just the magic I need when the lighting is right!

Just my handheld! canon I have used this camera to its fully true capacity! Enjoyed every moment of it!

Feedback

Just keep taking pictures if you love it you will self-educate! There is so much information, clubs courses, and books! Practice in the early mornings is my advice!
