Part of the Golden Isles of Georgia, St. Simmons Island and Jekyll Island are separated by a channel of water. Both have been playgrounds for the rich and famous and not so rich and famous. If you stand on Driftwood Beach and look across to St.Simmons you can see the Lighthouse (in the center of photo) that has kept these water safe for generations.
