Took a drive to Giscome east of Prince George, BC and ran across this creek with the sun low on the horizon.

Found under our fire truck on the frame. Taken with cell phone.

Taken 1o minutes drive from my home on a forestry road.

Time

Taken approximately around 1am.

Lighting

Playing with ISO and exposure times during the show allowed me to capture this awesome colour.

Equipment

Nikon D610 Manfrotto x90 tripod with ball head Nikon 24mm f1.4

Inspiration

There was solar storm warnings and on waking up at midnight it looked like a chance of a slight glow even with neighbors yard light on

Editing

A bit of contrast if I recall. Done at 2:30 am when getting home.

In my camera bag

Almost everything I own.

Feedback

Play with ISO from 800 to 6400 and timings from 3-20 seconds. Turn off long exposure noise reduction on camera as it increases process time and you may miss a chance photo like this one
