Location
This photo was taken just outside of Cleveland Ohio. I had arrived for a short vacation.Time
It’s a shot in the dark. Literally. I’m not sure what time exactly it was taken.Lighting
I loved the draw of the fall colors. I had visited the spot earlier in the day, and decided to go back in the evening to see how they looked at night.Equipment
Canon 6D, tripod, most likely a 24-105 or 24-70.Inspiration
The fall colors against the river were vibrant. I have always loved bridges, and this older looking one was ideal for a scenic shot.Editing
Yes. The color profile (Saturation, and vibrancy) were brought up, to make the fall colors pop. plus the rest of the sky that showed any color was darkened the rest of the way for dramatic effect. In my camera bag
That’s a hard question: I capture a lot of different moments - landscapes are just a part of that. Events. Birthdays. Weddings. Concerts. Music videos. Promo videos. It changes from shoot to shoot. One thing is almost always certain: I almost always have at least a DSLR (Canon) and some kind of 24-? Lens, and I almost always have at least 1 FPV drone with me and at least 1 cinematic drone - I’m a part 107 pilotFeedback
Patience. In a lot of ways - yes you have to go to the landscape shots you want, but be open to those shots coming to you. This spot was found during a drive and I thought to myself “at night that’s gonna look awesome.” Be open to going back to a spot when the weather or conditions change if possible. Timing is everything.
