Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken in Redruth area of Cornwall along the Great lodes. Cornwall is famous for its mining history.

Time

This was taken one Crisp morning in April about 9.30 ish, just after snow had fallen over night.

Lighting

The lighting was great. The night before was quite windy lots of snowm fall and then the morning so clear, clear blue sky sun to the left of me.

Equipment

Sony A450 a standard 18-55mm lens, no flash, f4.5 1/800sec. Yes I did use a tripod.

Inspiration

I have taken a few around the Great lode mines. A few from the exact same spot through the seasons; in the hope of getting a collarge going on. Also gives the impression of looking through the window to great beauty.

Editing

There was no post editing it's as it was taken.

In my camera bag

Variety of filters(ND) etc. Graded and polarised.

Feedback

What works for me is that in the limited time I've been into Photography in comparison to some of the awesome photographers out there is when I look at what's around me I just see images / frames. Then when you see something and you think that would look good though a lens, just do it and generally it works.
