The sun was shining brightly fairly high in the sky and the sky had few clouds so sun was quite strong but predictable, and fortunately not too harsh.Equipment

I was just hanging around by the water and saw the ducks swimming by. Luckily I had my camera to hand, so trotted off down stream to a place on the river bank I could lie down and get low to the water.. and waited for the duck (the photo) to come to me.Editing
A slight cropping and i may have adjusted the colour balance slightly as the green was even stronger in the original.In my camera bag

Do what the shot requires to get the right angle. I had to get down really low to get the back ground and view point I wanted .. don't be frightened to look silly in the street, I was on my belly taking this one
