Behind The Lens

Location

This is the view from my flat's window in Guildford, Surrey.

Time

I look at this bridge every single day. That afternoon I was on my way to town to get my weekly shopping. I looked up and I saw these beautiful colours surrounding me. I didn't have a camera and the only device I had with me which could take photos was my phone. I just had to capture that sky before the sun was set.

Lighting

I hardly touched the photo. These colours in the sky were the original. Magnificent!

Equipment

Samsung S3 Android.

Inspiration

Amazing how the sky can have so many different shades of red, blue, orange...etc.

Editing

I did not do a lot of processing. I prefer to keep my photos as they are as I believe by processing a photo you make it lose its value.

In my camera bag

Just my phone. Can't afford a DSLR at the moment

Feedback

Don't lose time. The moment you see it capture it.
