Behind The Lens

Location

One day I saw a billboard that was inviting people for flower garden in Karaj-Iran(city I live in) and it mentioned that this year it is going to be tullips garden. It was about 6 month that I had bought my camera and I had been looking for a situation to go out and photograph, so I considered it a very much good occasion and my family and I went on a picnic , sure carrying my camera( my Nikon D7100+18-200 nikon lens and my dad's yashica film camera). I have to say that I am not a professional photographer. Iam English literature student and at the moment I am doing my thesis., so I don't have enough time to take part in photography classes, but good books and nice photography sites are available.

Time

According to the location of the garden In supposed that between two to four pm it would be a good time to photograph flowers.

Lighting

The flowers in the garden were really amazing. A gamut of colours were everywhere. I just took a cursory look in order to let the right range of colour fond me.

Equipment

A had good equipments by myself like tripod, a nissin flash, extra batteries etc. But as I said I am not professional so I just tried to use my aperture and shutter speed with the lowest ISO possible to take my photos.

Inspiration

The gardener there told me that some parts of the garden are richer and led me there and I found many beautiful scenes.

Editing

No I didn't. Sure post processing does magic to photos by I am in fund of the original colour of photos.

In my camera bag

Every professional photographer says that it is the eye of the photographer that takes pictures not equipments but using proper equipments do help us. I got a tripod, external flash, hood, charger, generally basic necessary equipments.

Feedback

Until now what I have experienced is that a very important factor for a good photography is taking lots of photos in different situations; I mean places, lights, weathers etc.
