Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at a small corner in my school. This was around the time when I was experimenting with a simple Kodak digital camera.

Time

This was around 12PM during a school event when I was just walking around the campus in 2014.

Lighting

This was a completely accidental photo. I liked how the trees were filtering out the strong noon sunlight.

Equipment

It was a consumer level Kodak digital camera with no attachments.

Inspiration

I liked how the sunlight was getting filtered by the trees. It was a spontaneous shot.

Editing

Since this photo is very very old, I did not know anything about Photoshop or Lightroom. For this photo, I have only applied a light sepia filter from Picasa.

In my camera bag

I carry a Canon 600D with 18-55 mm kit lens, 55-250mm kit lens, and a 50 mm prime lens.

Feedback

Just look for trees during peak sunlight hours. In India, we have very intense sunlight around 12 PM which usually casts strong shadows. So just be on the lookout for such a scene.
