Location
This photo was taken in downtown panama city Florida. I was on a shoot with a couple friends of mine years back and we discovered a burned down restaurant. So we crossed the yellow tape with no regret to crawl around the rubble of this once fortress of strong flavors. The chair and entire set up was untouched. I took this picture with natural lighting handheld and I think it is a beautiful piece.Time
This was taken around noon or early afternoon.Lighting
This was just one of those moments where the sun was placed by God Himself.Equipment
This was taken on I believe a Nikon D80 with an 18-135mm lens. No tripod or lighting was added.Inspiration
This was one of those "holy crap that's pretty" moments. I saw the set up of this frame and fell in love in an instant. I had to capture it. I believe I only took this picture three times to make sure my exposure was correct. It was captured early on in my photography career.Editing
This photo is untouched. In my camera bag
Now I shoot with a canon 7D or a 5D MKII. I carry two speed lites with me with wireless triggers. A black magic pocket cinema camera, an 18-135mm, a 50mm a few canon batteries. A atomos ninja 2 recorder with 4 batteries. Two types of flash diffusors. Some times I use a 70-200mm Canon L-Series lens.Feedback
In an instance like this just look at your surroundings. Never just go on a shoot for one shot. Explore, experiment, feel your environment. In so many ways you might miss a shot while looking for that "one shot".
