Behind The Lens

Location
This Photo is taken near the Beautiful Lake Known as "Kunigal Kere'....
Time
I was looking for some interesting things to capture and when I looked at the end of the lake their was this awesome dragon fly , I took this photo on October 3rd 2015 3:37 PM .. exactly... Sun was high and burning..
Lighting
I was a sunny day and the sun was absolutely torching directly and I some how manage to get this when few clouds covered the sun...
Equipment
I dint had time to bag my gears .... so this one was handheld photo and I absolutely froze for this shot and I used Canon Eos M 18-55 mm kit lens... with settings of F-stop of f-10,Exposure - 1/60 sec,ISO-100,Focal Length of 55 mm
Inspiration
This one is unexpected photo because I went to photograph the birds near the lake...... Unfortunately I was not having any zoom lens for the birds so I was looking for something Interesting and close .... When I turned my head down uhhh.. there it is ...... Beautiful Dragon Fly .. I carefully started to crawl towards it as close as possible and Finally I waited for the sun to get covered and then boom I got It.. :)
Editing
Yes I did a color correction and tweaked the brightness and contrast...
In my camera bag
Normally I grab everything I can...Forget about the tripod and all...First carry as much lenses and possible because you never know what you would encounter...
Feedback
Advice is try to be as stealth as possible when u trying to get the photos like these.... Being close to this thing is what made this come out very well... and do not hesitate to get dirty in the mud.... :)
