Location
The picture was at the wyre Forrest not far from bewdley, West MidlandsTime
I'm sure it was mid morning, 11 or so, I'm sure it's on the shot data if I'm wrong.Lighting
It was drizzle, quite light but after a while will soak you.Equipment
Just a Sony 700, or 900, I forget which, it will be recorded in the shot info, actionInspiration
My main flowing is a flaeur style, it works basicly like this, you have rules, you go to take picture on a journey, or walk, you decide what to look for ,or find, for example; you have a route, and your just going to photography bikes,or peopem on bikes, that's what you do. Or, people sitting down, or rubbish, there's a bit more to it,but that's a very basic explanation. You either find or discover or you don't. This is a picture from perhaps 50 or so, maybe there's better pics, perhaps some one else will like a different image, but that's another story.Editing
No, just the camera. It's very rare I do anything to them, more to do I think because I have never been able to use the software, even when I had to use it on a module for my degree, I manages to crash three macs!! So! No, I found a book about photography by Susan Sontag, she says that photography has the responcability to keep it real, tell the truth, and in an age of photoshop and manipulation, to make this look perfect, her thoughts are making sence. This is something I use, in everything I do in photography, I tell the truth. In my camera bag
My slandered bag ,like most photographers changes as to what we expect, this. I just had two lenses and spare battery's. My main basic kit is Sony 700, three 16g cards, three battery's, 18-55 wide angle lens, 70-300 zoom with macro setting, sun pack flash and spare aa battery's for the flash, polerizer, lens cloth, and a remote shutter control, So quite small, in comparison to others, I like to keep it light.Feedback
I think the best advice I can give is to get your camera, and just go for a walk. Street photographers use a similar action plans. Look at what William egglesston gave us. Have a plan of attack, stick to it, but, if a photo opertunity appears that's not in your plan, take the shot. And keep don't what you do, everyone starts somewhere.
