I found this house while I was traveling through the West Bank-Palestine. The place was so quiet that you can hear the wind tells stories about the people who were hereTime
This was taken around 11:00 AM, December 2013. With a friend we were doing our regular tour searching for a unique place and views that worth shooting when we came up with this house located at a top of the mountainLighting
I wanted to capture this place to introduce it (as is) to the viewer so he/she feels the same feeling I felt when I was there.Equipment
Canon EOS 550D, f/22.0?ISO 100?Shutter 1/13 I didnt have a tripod so I placed the camera on a rock and set self-timer for 2 sec.Inspiration
Palestine is full of historical places that it is worth documenting it as we know that these places and due to the human being greed and carelessness will not exist in the near future.Editing
Just correcting the color to reflect the reality, and do very minimum retouching, and using the dodge burn tools to make the texture and the shadow more clearIn my camera bag
Canon 5dr, I travel with 3 lenses usually, canon 50mm, Tamron 17 - 280 mm, and super-wide lens, tripod, cleaning kit, memory cards, extra battery, power bankFeedback
be patient, look around, and select a unique angle to shot.
