Location
The photo was taken at the Lower Lewis River Falls State Park in Washington State.Time
Despite being the worst time of the day to shoot waterfall pictures, it was shot about 11:30 am with large portion of the falls is shaded by a hillLighting
The direct sunlight was hitting the top left side of the falls creating a severe bright spot, but it did give the lower left side a light glow. The photo was shot at 1/2 sec, f/22Equipment
I used my Nikon D5000, Sigma 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 DC Macro OS, CPL filter, tripod, and a wired remote.Inspiration
Heard about the falls, and just happen to close to the area and decided to check it out.Editing
Did some cropping to remove some unsightly limbs on the edge of the picture. Just adjust the levels, and adjust the saturation a tad.In my camera bag
Two cameras: Nikon D5000, and a Nikon D50 infrared. Seven different lens to cover from 10mm to 750mm. Four sets of filters to cover all lenses. All the normal accessories from remote to cleaning kit.Feedback
