Location
The photo was taken in my garden. It was a sunny morning in Greece and I was sitting on the ground and noticed the chamomile at my feet and so I just took the shot by hovering close above the ground, without having any image on my phone screen to check for framing or anything as the sun was so strong that I couldn't see the screen.Time
I don't remember the exact time but it was morning might have been around 10 am and the light was just beautiful. Not too harsh, not too soft and I guess my hand was just stable enough right at the exact moment the lens clicked.Lighting
I often take photos not only depending on the time of day but I know this will sound unusual, but I rely on how the sun feels on my skin very often in relation to its strength. That morning I remember having a feeling of balance. The temperature was sweet and the light similarly dulcet.Equipment
I used my Samsung S4, GT 19506 cell phone camera.Inspiration
The serenity of the moment inspired me. It was a tranquil gloriously sunny day and my dog was sleeping a few feet away on the grass, the cat was next to it and everything was very clear and vivid and I felt that even the little chamomile is spectacularly grand if one looks close enough and stands still to appreciate the magnitude of small things.Editing
No. I did not touch the image at all. I avoid editing and post processing my photos. It is important to me to capture the truth. As it stands. No altering unless I feel it is in service to the image's truth. In my camera bag
No equipment. I am a complete amateur. I only have my cell phone on me.Feedback
The only thing I do is try to see with my heart and not only my eyes. Observe. Feel. Think. Try. I can't help a lot with specifics because I am an amateur. I have no technical training. I love art, especially paintings and If I could suggest anything to others it would be to look at as many paintings and other forms of artistic expression as they can. I often feel that it helps my eye's lens to discern picture frames. If it "speaks" to me then I click.
