Location
I took this photo at the Franklin Park Conservatory.Time
I remember going with my family to the conservatory around midday.Lighting
I wanted the butterfly to be lit up in such a way that shows its delicacy. I love that I was able to capture how thin the wings are and how see through the wings are.Equipment
I shot this using my Canon Rebel t3i.Inspiration
I absolutely adore butterflies, and when I saw that one had landed in the perfect position I knew I had to snap a photo.Editing
I am almost positive there was not any post-processing, if there was any it was just fixing the exposure or something like that.In my camera bag
I always carry my Canon Rebel t3i, and my 18-55 mm lens.Feedback
Butterflies can be super hard to get photos of, but if you can find somewhere that has a butterfly room and aren't afraid to just sit and wait for the perfect moment.
