Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in Pine Creek, PA where my family and I love to go camping and exploring as often as life will let us.

Time

I took this photo in the early evening hours when the sun was just starting to sink behind the tall mountains.

Lighting

I wanted to be able to see the contrast and similarities between the Bumble Bee and the flower. How they are both beautiful and sharp.

Equipment

I just had my point and shoot Fuji cool pix camera.

Inspiration

I love everything about nature. I love to take pictures of flowers and bugs.

Editing

No, this picture is exactly as it was taken

In my camera bag

I usually just have my little point and shoot camera, at least until I can buy a new one....

Feedback

Patience and luck. Insects will usually return to the same flower over and over again. So with enough patience, if you watch the flowers you will see the insects return.
