Location
Northeastern Oklahoma is filled with an eclectic landscape. In Tahlequah, OK creeks and tributaries are around every corner. This creek is off the beaten track and is only visited by locals.Time
After a day spent visiting a working farm and feeding animals in the sweltering Oklahoma heat the kids needed a dip to wash the sweat and dirt off their bodies before the ride home. We grabbed a package of hot dogs, the ice chest and some drinks and stopped at the nearest creek before the sun went down.Lighting
It was right at the end of the day as the sun started its decent. The sunlight reflected across the water and glowed on the boys faces.Equipment
The only thing I had in my car was my NIKON 7000D and a zoom lens.Inspiration
It was cousins weekend and I was documenting the event so the memories could be revisited. When the sun started shining on the water and reflecting light into the faces of the kids I could not resist to capture the moment.Editing
