Location
This was shot 2013 at around October 2013 during my trip to Melbourne, Australia. We decided to drive the Great Ocean Drive up to see the Twelve Apostles. And along the way, I noticed the hugh tremendous waves hitting the cliff of the coast. My friend Joseph Wong was the driver, and I signalled him to stop as I wish to shoot the waves hitting the limestone cliff. We stop and I shot from his car using the support of the window, handheld. I shot multiple shots, but this one one made the cut. There was not much time for tripod, so I adjusted my camera to P mode to shoot. Shortly after the wave dies down and we carry on our journey to Port Campbell.Time
It was right before lunch when I spotted this great force of nature in the distant. I was like some 200m to 300m away from the road.Lighting
The sun was quite overhead but overcast.Equipment
My Nikon D5200 with Nikkor 18-300mm lens.Inspiration
It was truly the force of nature that captivated me to shoot its action. It seems that nature is very angry which she unleashed it force on the cliff. Thus, I entitled it "The Angry Wave".Editing
Just a little rotating and cropping plus colour levelling. In my camera bag
My favourite camera of the time. A prime lens and a micro lens at most. Usual will be my multi-purpose Nikkor 18-300 long lens for travelling.Feedback
