At the time I was quite new to photography, I shot this on a Canon 500d with the standard 18-55mm lens using a cheap variable nd filter I bought off of eBay. I used a very old small compact tripod, that didn't have a manufacturers name, I ended up leaving it in the bin at the hostel i stayed at, as it wasn't worth keeping.Inspiration
I loved how the water ran through the panels in the steps, it almost felt like I was walking on water.Editing
I sharpened the image slightly in photoshop elements, and also made it black and white other than this no post processing took place. In my camera bag
I now shoot with a Nikon d800, with a Sigma 24mm art lens and a nikon 80-400mm lens. For travelling I use a vanguard travel tripod, and also have my Lee big and little stopper, soft grad kit and circular polariser with me. The only other thing is some hahnel triggers.Feedback
Always think about what you want to be the main focal point in your image, I usually have the camera handheld to walk around the area to figure out the most pleasing perspective before getting my tripod out. I then work with a few different setting variations so I have more to choose from when it comes to post processing.
