It was a bright afternoon around 1 pm.Lighting
The light was quite harsh. But since I was using extension tubes for this macro shot the same was compensated..Equipment

Macro photography always enthuses me. So when I was looking for a subject at home the bees hovering on flowers beckoned me to try to get a decent shot..Editing
Yes used Lightroom to increase clarity.In my camera bag
I carry my Nikon d 5200 with a standard issue 18-105 vr lens. For more zoom there is tamron 70-300 lens and my tried and trusted 50mm 1.8D lens. Apart from these I carry a UV filter and a ND filter. also carry cleaning kiit and a shutter release switch...Feedback
Extension tubes are a cheap but effective way to achieve macro shots. However it required some skill for compensation of loss of dof. But once learnt it just opens another world! I love photography!
