Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken in my garden.
Time
It was a bright afternoon around 1 pm.
Lighting
The light was quite harsh. But since I was using extension tubes for this macro shot the same was compensated..
Equipment
I used extension tubes on my Nikon d5200 body with 50mm 1.8d lens.. This shot was taken hand held.
Inspiration
Macro photography always enthuses me. So when I was looking for a subject at home the bees hovering on flowers beckoned me to try to get a decent shot..
Editing
Yes used Lightroom to increase clarity.
In my camera bag
I carry my Nikon d 5200 with a standard issue 18-105 vr lens. For more zoom there is tamron 70-300 lens and my tried and trusted 50mm 1.8D lens. Apart from these I carry a UV filter and a ND filter. also carry cleaning kiit and a shutter release switch...
Feedback
Extension tubes are a cheap but effective way to achieve macro shots. However it required some skill for compensation of loss of dof. But once learnt it just opens another world! I love photography!
