Location

This photo was taken in Porto Alegre/Brazil during the Spring time.

Time

If I remember well, this photo was taken in the afternoon, around 4pm.

Lighting

I like a lot this set of lights and shadows over the leaves and flowers. Both, leaves and flowers, create shadows playing with the sunlight.

Equipment

This was shot with a Sony DSC-N2.

Inspiration

There was a pink house with these flowers on it. I approached to the house and looked up. I noticed a beautiful contrast between the colors green (leaves), pink (flowers) and blue (sky). I did not think twice, I took this picture.

Editing

In this particular case, I corrected white balance, contrast (just a little bit to not lose details) to improve the contrast between the colors.

In my camera bag

Point and shoot by Nikon (daily with me) and sometimes a Canon DSLR (for particular moments, events, travels).

Feedback

Always be aware of your surroundings. Your eyes are your best allies, along with your sensibility that you create every day. The practice is the biggest test that you can do daily.
