This picture of my front yard was taken on a clear afternoon, the sky was almost uniform in color which makes it easier for the selection tool to detect. I opened it in Photoshop copied it to a new layer then got the magic wand and clicked in an open space between the trees go to select go down to similar click and it should select most if not all of the sky then push Ctrl x and it removed most the background the spots that it didn't I click on another spot and repeated similar. then took a picture of my girlfriend and put behind it.
