Fort Rinella is a battery built on the North-West coast of Malta and run by the British. The Maltese valued water as there are not many natural springs on the islands and as a result these "moats" were never filled with water. However, it made an invading force think twice as they were often repulsed by a deadly wall of fire from the inner wall. Neat eh!
