This was taken in the ghost town of Gold Point Nevada. In 1905 the Great Western Mine began operations. It was known for its high-grade silver ore called Horn Silver. Gold was also mined in limited amounts. Nice little town in the middle of nowhere. I met a man tending bar although after I got back I was told that nobody has actually lived there for years. Hmmm?
