Behind The Lens
Location
I took this photo in Crested Butte, Colorado while going on a hike on Snodgrass Mountain.Time
This was taken in the morning, around 11am.Lighting
The lighting this particular day wasn't ideal, this is why I changed the background to black and white, which helped to show the coldness of the day while showing that the flower was the only sign of color returning.Equipment
Nothing fancy, just my iPod Touch.Inspiration
It was a gray and rainy day when I took this photo, but these flowers stood out to me because of the color they added to the world.Editing
I used the mobile Adobe Photoshop app and used a filter to select the red colors from the image. In my camera bag
The best camera is the one you always have with you. In this case, it was my trusty iPod Touch.Feedback
Always have your camera with you! It is possible to take amazing photos with even the simplest cameras. Photography does not require expensive, fancy equipment; the quality of the photo is connected only to the skill of the photographer.
