Location
I took this photo at home on the day I bought my studio equipment. It was my first photo I took using it.Time
Not sure exactly what time it was outside.Lighting
I used two box lights one on each side then a hair light on top toward the back.Equipment
I used my Canon 7D with the kit lens. I didn't take the time to use a tripod not knowing how much longer my dog would sit still for me. He actually did better than I expected.Inspiration
I have always done outdoor and landscape photography but wanted to try something new so I bought my first lighting kit. He just happened to be my first subject to try it on.Editing
I sharpened the image a bit in Photoshop with a little color and light adjustment.In my camera bag
I almost always use my Canon 5D Mark III now. I use my 7D for backup. I have a Canon 400mm lens for wildlife, a Tokina 15-30mm F/2.8 for most landscapes and the 24-105mm for portraits. I use a Vanguard tripod, 4 extra batteries and cleaning kit. Oh, and extra memory card.Feedback
