This Photo was taken my very first flight layover trip to Zurich approx 5 years ago. Being Cabin crew for Emirates I get to travel the world and visit beautiful places every week. Regardless of all the layovers I do around the world, Zurich will always be one of my favorite. The time of year and the snowy weather made this one of my favorite photos.Time
Shortly after arriving in Zurich, I checked into the hotel, immediately got changed out of the uniform and caught the train into the central station. From there I took the train to Üetliberg. Once the train departed from the little station it was magical. Sheer silence. Vast views over the mountains and down on the lake of Zurich. It was around 2pm but appeared to be evening because of the winter weather surrounding me.Lighting

I couldn't leave without taking the picture. This picture marked a memory in my travels that I will never forget. In 6 years I haven't been back to Zurich at this time of year to get a similar photo.Editing
Absolutely no post processing done. I believe the picture didn't need any. It was beautiful all by itself. In my camera bag
Normally whenever I travel to a new destination I have my Sony Cybershot with me. For a few years the only equipment I had for documenting my travels was my trusty Iphone. I believe this picture was from the Iphone.Feedback
Its all about the time of day you go, where you stand, the lighting, the scenery itself. But No matter where you want to take a picture you can get the best shot if you focus on what you want to photograph. I believe everyone has a good eye for photography. Its all about focusing on the image you want and taking as many pictures as possible until you are happy with your photo. I love to photograph weird and unusual objects that are set in the foreground with the background blurred but still visible. It captivates the viewer to see what the picture is all about. Photographs can tell a story by just one shot. I love to photograph scenery, landscapes but with something interesting in them so it doesn't appear to be a typical landscape photo. When I take a picture I want to draw the viewer into the photo.
