Location
I took this photo in my living room (Colton California) using a portable lighting studio I purchased on EbayTime
This shot was taken in the afternoon hours. Probably 6 -7 pm.Lighting
Considering the price I paid for the lighting equipment (approx $130) I feel the price was worth it. I would say I'm very happy with the end result.Equipment
I used a Canon 70D with a standard EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6. A tripod and a soft box lighting studio kit which I purc on EBayInspiration
The young lady in the photo is a neighbor of mine. Her family was originally from Lebanon who migrated to Costa Rica and later migrated to the U.S. she Speaks English, Spanish and Lebanese I was inspired with her ability to relate and appreciate all the three cultures. Thus the name Latin Lebanese. Perhaps I shou have named it Latin American Lebanese.Editing
No post processing. I tried photoshoping different colors but in the end decided to go with the original shot due to the vibrancy of the colors. In my camera bag
Normally I carry a Canon 70d and a Canon Rebel for backup. An ultra wide angle lens, a macro lens and 2 Standard zoom lenses. A Tripod and a couple of filters.Feedback
For anyone interested in photography I would say "go for it" don't worry about not getting it done right the first time. Take your time and be patient. Try not to worry about the cost of the camera if you invest in good equipment, believe me it will pay off. And most importantly have fun, enjoy your craft. Even if you end up deleting 99% of the photos you took, as long as you get that "one" it will be worth it. Lastly don't be afraid of sharing your work with the rest of us. You were given a talent by God for a reason. Show us how beautiful this world still is.
